Mojito
A Seattle institution since 2001, Mojito is owned by Ethiopian-born Luam Wersom, who famously worked his way up from dishwasher to sole owner over 20+ years. The restaurant moved in 2025 to a spacious new Roosevelt Way home, serving authentic Latin American and Cuban cuisine including vaca frita, tostones, paella Mojito, empanadas, and fresh handmade mojitos — with a warmth and community generosity that have made it a neighborhood fixture.
