Chef Kristi Brown — the James Beard–celebrated owner of Communion — runs Lil' Brown Girl as a daytime lunch pop-up inside Métier Brewing Company's Beacon Hill taproom, serving a rotating cast of her most iconic soul food dishes including smoked turkey legs, oxtail, shrimp and grits, and deviled eggs alongside the brewery's craft beers in an intimate, art-filled space spotlighting local BIPOC artists.
