Bill Hart began baking his first pie in 1971, and today operates his beloved Southern-style pie shop out of a converted residential home at the crossroads of Rainier and MLK — the only rule being to keep your feet off the chaise lounge. The rotating daily selections include peach cobbler, chess pie, pecan, sweet potato pie, and the legendary old-fashioned bean pie, all baked fresh on the premises.
